fixed makefiles to create bin directory

fixed facesim makefile to compile with plaincxx instead of g++
fixed output paths of facesim
fixed directories that ferret looks for gsl, however MN is not working since input dir for gsl module is not set in environment - the gsl included in the distribution should be used instead
